Walt disney and warner bros brothers company has been the most successful company in creating the famous cartoon character for over decades.Of course,the essential aim to producing the admirable cartoon characters is to gain the fame and glory.Clearly, market response is a pivotal part to determine the success of a cartoon character.Mickey mouse failed to impress the audience due to its mischiveous behaviour in the first film of mickey mouse 'Plane Crazy".The first film that drawned the attention of the public was "Steamboat Willie" which was published in 18th November 1928.The variety of mickey mouse appearance such as suitor, gloved , soldier and in different countries' troditional clothes had fascinated the audience.Musical performances such as Fantasia and Cactus Kids are the continuous result of audiences' interest to mickey mouse.Nowadays, Mickey had become the head of the mickey mouse club which include minnie. donald,daisy, pluto,goofin and much more.Unfortunately, the critism about mickey mouse had never stoppped.The origin of mickey mouse in America has made itself to become the symbol of antiAmerica.Mickey mouse had been banned in other countries such as Germany as it ' reawaken the new antigerman feeling since the world war II .
Compared to Mickey mouse ,bugs bunny has a much positive reputation and response from the public.Bugs bunny was listed as the 50 greatest cartoon charactersby TV Guide in 2002 ansd it was given the honour of No.1.Its impact on the comedian cant also be underestimated.Famous comedian Dave Chappelle cited Bugs Bunny as its earliest influence and praised the voice actor Mel Blanc.Due to its fame, bugs bunny won the academy awards in 1958 by film Knighty knight Bugs.The humour og bugs bunny impressed the audience and it produce a lot of catchphrases such as 'whats up Doc' , 'Aint i a stinker' and ' Of course you realize it means war!"
